This site.. probably eats up the most of my time I spend at a Pc. Its AMAZEBALLS . So, if you’re reading my blog and you have never been to 9gag, please, Do Visit. And let it claim your soul.. Well, not its not satanic.. and I mention this because one of my sisters friends actually complained, alot, about the fact that there are Christian references.. and how it was blasphemy=\ The site is mainly composed of funny and satirical pictures that users of the site create/gather from the great big Interweb, You have to know about memes to appreciate how funny some of the stuff really is

My name is Lemon.Llama I feel like I need to have this bit published now since I just put my blog address on Twitter =\. I am currently a Student at The Durban University Of Technology, and will (soon) be graduating with a diploma in Horticulture and Environmental Studies .  Im passionate about environmental activism and food. I love food. Seriously . Especially cheese. Its weird that I always have ideas for blogs when Im not* near a computer.. but when Im finally a slave to my keyboard its like my mind goes blank -_-. So let me write about this new social platform that found me called Klout  

For the past few days Ive been OBSESSED with finding out exactly how much influence I have on all my social networks..  and this has encouraged me to create more networks just to get more points These things actually matter to me know.. I kind of stopped talking to a lot of people in my life,and Im turning to the internet as my main source of social interaction. So! Back to Klout. basically, it measure’s all the data you send and receive on various networks like LinkedIn, Facebook or Twitter and it calculates how much you influence those people or how much they influence you . The more you post about a topic.. the more influential you become, Neat huh? . The average score is 20, that’s basic posting on Facebook and probably 10 tweets a day, The more you interact the more Klout you get and the higher your score gets, I for example, have a score of 51

It keeps a tally of these rises and falls so basically you can see at a glace how active you are across the internet. I’ll admit, its slightly creepy, especially since they have your data already* and they have a profile on you  At this moment, I have my Facebook,twitter,foursquare,wordpress,flickr,Google + and LinkedIn attached to my Klout profile So you can see I am turning into a Cyber Geek and im not ashamed to refer to myself as one

 

The next step will be for me to start writing forums/columns, especially since I have a lot to say about plants, But that is for another blog

Starting A Journey

As part of our Activate! leadership and Public Innovation training course, we where required to start up  a blog.. At first I was hesitant. I’m not really sure how people manage to come up with things to blog about, I mostly used to just enjoy reading them The past few days where interesting though.. I started thinking of thing I would* blog about, and about how much I would enjoy typing these stories out so that I could enjoy understanding them better :)  Im not really such a great writer.. And I tend to complain a lot :$ This will be an interesting quest, for insight and I hope that you will stick with me through it Dear Reader~
